QR Code Setup

Follow these steps to install your eSIM quickly by using the QR code provided.

  • Important Information

    • Your eSIM can only be set up after the payment is complete.
    • To enable hotspot/tethering, please follow the manual setup instructions to the end.

1. After you complete the payment for the eSIM, please wait on this screen while the eSIM is being configured. This process may take up to 10 minutes.

2. Save the displayed QR Code to the gallery of your phone.

3. Go to your device's settings, and tap [Network and Internet].

4. Tap [SIMs].

5. Tap [Add SIM] > [Set up an eSIM].

6. Tap [Scan from photo], then select the QR Code from your gallery.
Follow the instructions until you reach the SIMs page.

7. When activating the TOP SIM eSIM, the Set your SIM preferences screen will appear.

8. Tap [Get started] and follow the instructions until you reach the SIMs page.
※The name of the eSIM displayed may vary depending on your device (e.g., IIJ eSIM, SIM2, etc.). For clarity in the following instructions, we have renamed the eSIM to “TOP SIM eSIM.”

9. Your SIM is activated. Tap [TOP SIM eSIM] and configure [Access Point Names].
On the APNs page, tap the [+] icon in the top right corner.

10. Enter the Name, APN, and Authentication type.
Then, tap [Save].

Name: vmobile.jp
APN: vmobile.jp
Autentication Type: PAP or CHAP

11. On the APNs page, check the box 'vmobile.jp' to activate it.

12. Go to your phone settings and disable Wi-Fi.
